Bill Dinsdale - JBM1 mandolin

This was a great personal commission from an ex-student and a good friend to mark his pearl anniversary, and made with materials from the furniture of his boyhood.

Classic tear-drop body with, carved European Spruce top, reclaimed Honduras Mahogany back,ribs and neck with Macassar Ebony bindings and veneers and Ebony fingerboard and bridge. A cast Allen gold tailpiece and Headway HE4-M pickup are fitted.
